My training approach is low stress starting from the very basics building foundation, trust, confidence and understanding in the animal. I find, a trusting relationship always helps the training come along easier. It builds confidence in the horse making him/her more willing to perform what you ask.

The training really is combined in the sense that a mixture of all types of techniques and riding come into play. Natural horsemanship, dressage, hunter jumper, cross country schooling and trail riding all are in the ingredients.
When you think of a “perfect” horse if there ever was such a thing, you would want something that was mentally relaxed & at ease (natural horsemanship) has loose, elastic movement & a flexible pole (dressage), keeps a steady rhythm and pace (hunter jumper), can safely go off property alone (trail) and can go for a controlled gallop while jumping (Eventing).

From starting a young horse correctly to working the kinks out of a an oldtimer, I'll make sure you are satisfied with the outcome!

When I teach lessons, the approach is a fun, safe, professional and effective method. A combination of all my coaches’ information and techniques throughout my lifetime of riding (along with so many other helpful tricks I've picked up along the way)- mixed up into a batch of organized and animated instruction. I love to make people laugh and enjoy their time in the ring to the fullest while learning the maximum amount possible. I work with students of all ages and abilities at a step- by- step pace. If there is a problem we will work as a team to fix it and it is a rewarding feeling for the partnership at the end. Horse and rider are a team.
My job is to make that team as poetic as possible!
